ASU GREEK LEADERSHIP VILLAGE RESIDENTIAL HOUSING & COMMUNITY CENTER
INSPIRED DESIGN:
Serving as home to nearly 1,000 students in different Greek chapters, the design allows for each house to maintain a distinct identity. The village is comprised of 27 connected chapter houses, with three-story and four-story townhomes. In addition, the project includes a large Greek Leadership Village Community Center that showcases a street-level retail area, event space, ASU staff offices and council offices. Each Chapter House offers a variety of large, flexible, gathering spaces on two levels allowing for degrees of social interaction and/or separation with the private residential units.
THOUGHTFUL STEWARDSHIP:
Implementing creative strategies for a sustainable student housing project afforded the achievement of LEED Certification (Residences) and LEED Silver Certification (Community Center).
CREATIVE TEAMWORK:
Rigorous and dedicated collaboration between the Owner, Architect and Contractor facilitated the team’s ability to accelerate the project’s initial two-phase construction schedule and complete the entire project within the original 1st phase.
ENDURING COMMITMENT:
Great partnerships stand the test of time. The Greek Leadership Village was DWL’s most recent collaboration with American Campus Communities and Arizona State University to implement an academically supportive and socially enriched student life experience within the New American University.
