DWL designed a 15,000 s.f. addition building containing nine classrooms, restrooms and a
connecting shade canopy to the school’s existing facilities. The design team found inspiration in the order of the classroom unit: through standard, modular building components, the classrooms achieve an efficient, inspired and simple form. Voids in the elevation allow pockets of light to enter, while providing shadows that add visual interest to a long street façade. Large north-facing windows allow ample natural light for a more productive learning environment.
