Midwestern University - Downers Grove, Illinois
Dedicated to a sense of tradition yet anxious to express high technology in a sensitive environment, Midwestern University worked with DWL to develop the new 135-acre Glendale campus as an extension of Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. DWL’s relationship with Midwestern University began in 1995 with the Glendale campus master plan and 650,000 s.f. of building development to accommodate a student and faculty of 2,500 within three colleges. To date, nearly 60 projects have been completed on both campuses.

DWL continues to design buildings to meet Midwestern University’s expanding needs. Two colleges have been added on the Glendale campus: the College of Dental Medicine; and the Arizona College of Optometry. Scheduled for completion within the next year are two clinics supporting both these programs, which will provide a community-based practice where students and medical staff can gain valuable hands-on training. These join the recently opened Medical Clinic to form a three-building Medical Arts complex.

DWL is proud of its ongoing relationship with Midwestern University and considers it an honor to contribute to the future of one of the largest osteopathic medical schools in the country.
